This adjustment was officially announced during the swearing-in ceremony of the 22nd Head of Service (HoS), Olabode Shuaib Agoro, held at the Lagos House in Alausa, Ikeja.
The governor explained that the loan increase applies to all workforce levels, specifying that for levels 14 to 17, the loan has been raised from N100,000 to N500,000, for levels 7 to 13, it has increased from N70,000 to N250,000, and for levels 1 to 6, it has been elevated from N30,000 to N100,000.
Sanwo-Olu also mentioned that the state government is contemplating raising the salaries of its employees once the federal government implements its recent announcement of additional N25,000 and N35,000 increments for junior and senior federal government staff.
The governor expressed his confidence in the new Head of Service’s ability to continue and build upon the achievements of his predecessor, highlighting Agoro’s dedication to work in all the ministries he has been a part of as remarkable.
