Akpabio made this commitment during the closing ceremony of the Yewa Cultural Festival, which had the theme “Celebration of Culture, Tradition, Music, Cuisine, and Dance.”
The event was held at the modern Empire Field pavilion in Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State on Saturday.
Senate President Akpabio specifically highlighted the importance of the Lagos-Ota-Abeokuta road and assured that all necessary efforts will be made to ensure its completion.
He expressed that he chose to drive to the venue to personally experience the daily challenges people face on this road. He noted that it took his team over two hours to travel from Lagos to Ilaro, emphasizing the urgency of addressing this road’s condition.
