to implicate former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in a forgery scandal are a deliberate strategy to downplay the allegations against President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Atiku’s Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, cautioned Tinubu and his associates against any further attempts to draw comparisons between President Atiku and Atiku.
Ibe emphasized that all the names Atiku carries have a clear lineage within his family history.
He pointed out, “Contrary to Bola A. Tinubu’s allegations of forgery against Atiku, the change of name by the former Vice President, reverting to Atiku Abubakar from Siddiq Abubakar, is well-documented in a sworn affidavit dated August 18, 1973, spanning a period of 50 years.
This information has been in the public domain, coincidentally dating back as far as Tinubu’s history of forgeries and falsehoods.”
