In a recent turn of events, employees of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) have barricaded the organization’s main office in Abuja. Their outcry stems from the appointment of Tola Odeyemi as the new Chief Executive Officer/Post Master General. Expressing their preference for the former CEO Adepoju, the disgruntled employees took to the streets, chanting unifying anthems and displaying placards showcasing their demands.
