Ezekwesili had accused the National Assembly of being insensitive in light of public outrage over reports that the 360 members were set to receive vehicles valued at around N160 million each.

In his statement on X, Omokri expressed: “Oby Ezekwesili is currently condemning the House of Representatives for their acquisition of SUVs for members.

She is advocating for more transparency in government. But has @obyezeks been transparent regarding the donations she received from Nigerians for her unsuccessful presidential campaign? Has she published her audited financial statements? She faced accusations from her own party of mishandling the donated funds. Or perhaps she assumes that we have forgotten?”

“Shouldn’t Oby set an example by first informing Nigerians how she utilized the money donated to her, before criticizing the Representatives who have at least provided a clear account of their expenses and funding sources?” Omokri queried.
