In a statement released on Sunday, the Governor described the attack on the Customs facility and the loss of the officer as a tragic and regrettable incident.
He emphasized the need for vigilance and not to be complacent in times of relative peace, urging citizens to provide timely and useful information to government and security agencies about suspicious individuals and activities in their communities.
The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with security forces to maintain the peace in the state and offered his condolences to the family of the deceased officer, praying for his eternal rest and his family’s strength in coping with the loss.
