Police in Jigawa State Appeal To Locals For Crucial Crime-Fighting Data

In a statement endorsed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Ekot Epiom, emphasized the significance of community involvement in reducing crime, recognizing that the police cannot be omnipresent.
The statement emphasized that the provision of such information and community dedication has already resulted in the apprehension of four individuals responsible for terrorizing peaceful neighborhoods.
“We have achieved the detention of four suspected thieves and the recovery of a tricycle, a submersible pumping machine, a laptop, and three phones,” the statement reported.
DSP Shiisu indicated that the suspects had admitted to their involvement in the crimes and would face legal charges following the conclusion of the investigation.
