SP Sewuese Anene, the police public relations officer (PPRO) of the command, addressed the issue, stating that the alleged victim of a stolen genital organ had falsely raised an alarm.

A video had gone viral on social media, alleging that a pastor and a church member had stolen an unidentified person’s genital organ in the New Layout, Kanshio area of Makurdi.

The video showed the alleged organ thieves being seriously beaten, with one of them appearing naked.

Anene explained that, despite these allegations of stolen organs spreading in various states, most of the supposed victims have been unable to substantiate the claim that their genital organs were actually missing.

She pointed out that victims often raise false alarms, leading unsuspecting members of the public to attack suspected thieves without conducting any proper investigations.
