Mr. Matilukuro Oluwakorede, the president of JUAC, made this statement in Abuja in response to a social media publication claiming that FCT workers were facing challenges due to salary and allowance reductions amid inflation.
Oluwakorede urged the public to disregard the circulating information, emphasizing that it did not originate from their organization.
He clarified that they have internal issues and have had discussions to resolve them, expressing their support for the minister.
Regarding the salary issue, the president explained that JUAC had advocated for certain allowances, but these allowances were not included in the 2023 budget.
