The governor emphasized that the district continues to be an essential component of his administration’s developmental agenda.

Governor Abiodun conveyed this message during the Yewa Division Town Hall meeting, which was conducted to prepare for the 2024–2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and the 2024 Appropriation Bill. The event took place in Ilaro, the senatorial district’s capital.

Represented by his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Governor Abiodun assured that his government remains dedicated to granting the region a significant role as a tangible demonstration of its commitment to good governance.

He also highlighted Ogun State’s status as Nigeria’s industrial capital, with Ogun West hosting the nation’s highest concentration of factories and industrial hubs, including some of the largest industrial estates in sub-Saharan Africa.

The governor affirmed that his administration is actively working to attract new industries and ensure the viability of existing ones while upholding a conducive environment for business operations in the area.
