Breaking: PDP Governors Assemble In Abuja For Emergency Summit On Wike Vs. Fubara Clash

The meeting was prompted by the ongoing crisis in Rivers State, where certain members of the state’s legislative assembly are attempting to impeach Governor Sim Fubara, a PDP member.
The PDP governors have assembled at the Oyo State Governors Lodge in Abuja for this urgent meeting.
It has been reported that efforts to impeach Fubara took place between Sunday night and Monday morning within the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Some of the PDP governors who were seen upon their arrival include Fubara, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Caleb Muftwang of Plateau, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, and Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa.
Additionally, Ademola Adeleke of Osun, Agbu Kefas of Taraba, Godwin Obaseki of Edo, and Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta were present.
Members of the party’s National Working Committee, headed by Acting Chairman Iliya Damagum, have also arrived for this meeting.
