She commended the apex court’s decision that upheld her husband’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

She conveyed these sentiments while attending the Imo State All Progressives Congress Women Campaign Rally, which was organized in support of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s re-election campaign in Owerri.

The First Lady described the Supreme Court’s decision as a validation of her husband’s credibility, giving him a “clean bill” of approval.

Mrs. Tinubu stated, “As you can see, the court has already vindicated my husband, and we believe that this is a manifestation of divine providence, and it is indeed marvelous to us.”

She also reaffirmed her husband’s commitment to making the East a pivotal industrial hub in Nigeria and promised that development in the South-East would commence in Imo.

She added, “During our campaign, I made a promise that we would spare no effort to ensure the unity of Nigeria.”

In the preceding week, the Supreme Court rejected the appeals of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, who had challenged Bola Tinubu’s victory.
