Tinubu conveyed this message during the inaugural session of his administration’s first Cabinet Retreat held at the new Conference Centre of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The 2023 Cabinet Retreat, with the theme “Delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda,” was organized for ministers, presidential aides, permanent secretaries, and other high-ranking government officials.
During the event, the president reaffirmed his dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing that there would be regular evaluations of government officials.
Those who fail to meet the objectives set for delivering the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda will face consequences.
He stated, “If you are performing, there’s nothing to fear. If you fall short of the objectives, we will assess.
If there’s no performance, you will no longer be part of our team. No one operates in isolation, and the ultimate responsibility rests with me.”
