Oyebanji reemphasized this during the Command Performance of FAJUYI FOR NIGERIA, a stage play depicting Fajuyi’s courageous actions at the Muson Centre in Lagos on Sunday. He previously urged the same during a similar play held in Ado-Ekiti last month.
The Governor highlighted Fajuyi’s selfless act during the 1966 Nigerian Counter-Coup when he shielded the then Head of State, Major-General Aguiyi-Ironsi, sacrificing his own life, stating that Fajuyi’s legacy embodies patriotism and sacrifice, deserving recognition from the Federal Government.
