In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor expressed his wishes for more prosperous years for the emir during his reign.
“The governor joins the people of Kwara State, particularly those in the Ilorin Emirate, in commemorating the royal father, whose assumption of the throne marked a new era of positivity for the revered institution and the emirate’s inhabitants.
Governor AbdulRazaq lauds the emir for his exceptional leadership characterized by peace, diplomacy, and a commitment to culture and tradition, which have positively impacted the people and their welfare.
He prays that Allah bestows good health upon the emir, who also serves as the chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, guides him on the right path, and facilitates his responsibilities as he continues to lead the community,” the statement conveyed.
