A total of 8,350 graduands received National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates.
Represented by his Chief of Staff, Alh Mahe AbdulKadir, the governor commissioned a 33KV power project, a 2.5-kilometer reinforced concrete drainage system, the renovated old Institute of Technology (IOT) lecture halls, laboratories/workshops, and offices, along with the remodeled Library and Information Science Department.
Governor AbdulRazaq commended the polytechnic’s management for advancing infrastructural development and assured continued support from the state government.
He encouraged the maintenance of peace within and outside the polytechnic and urged the graduands to leverage technology for success.
The rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed, revealed that the four projects commissioned by the governor were funded from the institution’s internally generated revenue (IGR).
