Senate Leader And Colleagues Mobilize N24 Million Aid For Orphanages On World Orphans’ Day

The donation was presented during an event organized by Mrs. Temitope Adeola, the wife of Senator Adeola, through her non-governmental organization, CHADASH, dedicated to widows and orphans.

The senators allocated N12 million each to the orphanages, and Senator Bamidele made an additional donation of N5 million to CHADASH. Other senators also pledged various contributions to the charitable NGO.

Beneficiary orphanages include Gifted and Talented Orphanage, Facado Orphanage, Cherry Field Orphanage, Christ Bethel Orphanage, Dynasty Orphanage, JKS Orphanage, Shining Star Orphanage, Queen Esther Orphanage, Maratha Care Children Home, Osaze Orphanage, Desired Orphanage, Purity Rose Orphanage, and Gifted and Talented Home in Nasarawa.

Senator Adeola, identifying as an orphan himself, emphasized the challenges faced by orphans in society.

He encouraged collective efforts to support orphans, highlighting his own experiences of discrimination in the political field due to his orphan status. Senator Adeola urged everyone to contribute to integrating orphans into society, ensuring they become valuable and productive members.
