During a familiarization visit to the Government House in Bauchi by the newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 12, Bauchi, Dasuki Galadanci, the Governor acknowledged the sacrifices of security personnel. He emphasized the need for ongoing efforts to maintain peace.

Governor Mohammed informed the AIG that areas mostly affected by the activities of suspected bandits and kidnappers are all the local government areas of neighboring states from the Northwestern part of the country.

To facilitate effective security operations across the state, he mentioned that a Ministry of Internal Security has been created to provide all the needed support in the area.

The Governor highlighted that the state is enjoying relative peace due to the support of personnel from the Nigeria Police and other security agencies, urging the people to continue supporting them with useful information on the activities of criminals.

The newly posted AIG, Dasuki Galadanci, expressed appreciation for the state government’s prioritization of citizens’ well-being.

He assured that the Police would introduce new security strategies to enhance the general operations of the police and other security personnel.

The AIG also appealed to the people of Bauchi State to continue having confidence in the Nigeria Police by providing useful information for continuous development.
