Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force, reported that the strikes, conducted on Friday, were among the most successful in recent memory.
The air operation targeted a remote area where three zinc huts, surrounded by trees, served as a gathering point for over 100 heavily armed terrorists.
The aftermath revealed the destruction of two structures and troop carriers, indicating the elimination of key figures like Abu Asad, Ibrahim Nakeeb, Mujaheed Dimtu, Mustafa Munzir, and several other fighters associated with the Ali Ngulde group under Boko Haram.
