In a voice note dispatched to the media in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, 2Baba expressed his astonishment at the news of DPO Angbashim’s murder, categorically stating that he had no involvement in the incident.

Cultists operating in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State perpetrated the crime, seizing and displaying the severed corpse of the late DPO.

In response to the heinous act, Governor Siminalayi Fubara imposed a N100 million bounty on the perpetrator.

In the voice note, 2Baba asserted that he had spoken to DPO Angbashim just hours before the tragic incident and was genuinely shocked by the news of the murder.

He clarified, “I want to tell the whole world that my hand is not in the murder of the DPO. All this while, I never wanted to talk about this, but people were very concerned, so I said let me tell my people the truth. I am not involved in the murder.

It is just that the thing happened on my community road. The day it happened, I was not there. I was shocked when I heard what happened.”
