Biu made this revelation during the inauguration of the newly constructed Sector Command’s office in Kaduna on Thursday.

He emphasized that the inauguration of the facility represents a significant achievement in the FRSC’s mission to enhance road safety and contribute to making Nigerian roads among the safest globally. Biu stated.

“This is also of great significance not only in positively positioning the corps to tackle traffic situations in Nigeria for improved road transportation but also in producing a crop of personnel with a high level of professionalism and discipline who will be ready, at all times, to sacrifice their comfort to save lives on the roads.”

Highlighting the FRSC’s evolution over the last three decades, Biu pointed out the organization’s culture of professionalism and excellence in service delivery.

He emphasized that the FRSC has become the lead agency in road safety management and traffic administration, demonstrating a passionate and enduring commitment to creating an unparalleled safer motoring environment in the African sub-region.

Biu assured that the FRSC would continue to enhance its strategies, programs, knowledge, and processes to overcome challenges and administer safety effectively and efficiently in Nigeria.

He noted that efforts have been made to expand both internal and external horizons, fostering robust collaborations on all fronts since the second decade of the Corps’s existence.

This evolution has led to a shift in road safety administration from the traditional approach to the Safe Systems Approach.
