Released on Thursday, November 30, the statement also mentioned that a coronation committee has been established by the state government, with Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, leading the committee.
Other committee members include the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Mr. Segun Olayiwola, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, and the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Security, Retired Commissioner of Police Sunday Odukoya.
The committee has been actively engaged in meetings with coronation committees from the two palaces in recent weeks and has conducted inspections of the venues for the upcoming events.
