Ejimakor shared the directive received during his recent meeting with Kanu through a post on his Twitter handle on Thursday.
In the update, Ejimakor conveyed Kanu’s appreciation for those positively influencing matters during his ongoing incarceration.
“Update: I’ve concluded today’s visitation with Onyendu #MNK. In my company were Barr Mandela and Prince Emmanuel. MNK greets the faithful and loyal and directs that all should stay put and stay the course.
He’s proud of those that have impacted positively and brought sanity to bear,” wrote Ejimakor on the microblogging platform.
Meanwhile, Ohanaeze Ndigbo asserted that the release of Nnamdi Kanu could diminish the influence of self-proclaimed Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa and the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the last election, Peter Obi.
In a statement by factional Secretary-General Isiguzoro Okechukwu on Thursday, Ohanaeze urged President Bola Tinubu to stand firm in his decision-making process regarding Kanu’s release.
