Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has declared his unwavering commitment to protecting the state from blackmail and intimidation. Addressing the gathering, Fubara stated, “Let us not forget that Rivers State is our collective inheritance, presently under my watch, to protect, defend, and advance as the governor. I assure you that I will not fail in this responsibility, nor will I surrender our mandate and progress to intimidation, blackmail, and deliberate sabotage.
He reiterated his commitment to peace, emphasizing that unnecessary crises hold no benefit for the state. Fubara called on all stakeholders to work together for the continued progress and development of Rivers State.
