Governor Yahaya expressed profound dismay at the reprehensible and heinous nature of the attacks, extending the Forum’s heartfelt condolences to the affected families, communities, and the entire Plateau State. The loss of over 100 lives and the extensive property damage during these attacks, particularly at a time when people were preparing to celebrate Christmas, were characterized as deeply disheartening.

Labeling such acts of violence as not only cowardly but also contradictory to the spirit of unity and coexistence upheld by the region, Governor Yahaya emphasized the urgent need to prioritize peace and harmonious living in communities. He stressed the importance of reaffirming a commitment to peaceful coexistence and solidarity, transcending differences among individuals.
