Right Or Wrong? Poly Student Commits Suicide While In Detention  In NSCDC Cell

There is a tragic incident involving a student from Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi who is said to have committed suicide in an NSCDC cell in Kebbi State.

According to a report in The Nation, the student, Victor Musa, from the state’s Zuru local government area, committed the act while under the custody of NSCDC and used a razor blade.

According to a source, Musa was taken to the NSCDC cell on Saturday night for suspected drug abuse.

The diploma candidate allegedly got his hands on a razor blade and used it to kill himself.

The student was pronounced dead at Birnin Kebbi Memorial Hospital between 3 and 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the NANs have protested his death, demanding an autopsy to determine what really happened.
