Mrs. Munirah Abdullahi, the commissioner of Finance, Budget, and Planning for the state, revealed the earmarked funds for the CCTV project during a press briefing held in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State, on Friday, January 12. The disclosure was part of a comprehensive breakdown of the 2024 appropriation bill titled “Budget of Renewed Commitment.”

The decision to invest in electricity equipment and CCTV infrastructure underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing security measures and curbing criminal activities within the region.
