The rerun election is slated to take place in 34 polling units situated across Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency, Obanliku, and Yala two, State Constituency. Mrs. Nwobi emphasized that only eligible voters possessing Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and registered in the specified polling units are authorized to participate in the electoral process.

The Federal Government Assures N-Power Beneficiaries That No One Will Go Unpaid And Sets A Target Of 5 Million Participants For The New program.

To facilitate a smooth and secure voting process, the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) will be deployed during the election. Activities are set to commence at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Nwobi clarified that individuals in the queue before the stipulated closing time will be duly attended to by INEC officials.

Encouraging active civic participation, she urged voters residing in the affected areas to turn out in large numbers and exercise their voting rights by casting their ballots for the candidates of their choice. The INEC is committed to ensuring a transparent and inclusive electoral process for the benefit of the Cross River community.
