In the wake of the recent life sentence handed down to Bishop Feyiropo Daniels by the Lagos High Court for rape charges, a shocking revelation has surfaced, shedding light on the controversial cleric’s past. The unfolding narrative unveils a disturbing chapter from 2009 when Feyi Daniels allegedly orchestrated an investment scam through an entity called Leadwealth Investment in Benin City. The magnitude of the scam was significant, with victims recounting losses amounting to over N600 million. Astonishingly, at that time, Daniels was reportedly a student and the campus pastor of Daystar Campus Fellowship in UNIBEN.

Prince Ohmz, a resident of Edo, took to social media to share the unsettling details, emphasizing the concept of karma catching up with the once-prominent pastor. “When we tell people about Karma, some will say it doesn’t exist. In 2009, Feyi Daniels duped people over N600 million naira in Benin city & ran away. Benin people told him ‘you go see am.’ After about 15yrs, he don finally see am. Karma may delay but e go surely arrive,” he asserted.

He continued: “This is Feyi Daniels, he founded an investment platform back then in 2008 called Leadwealth investment in Benin city and made away with over N600million in 2009. He was still a student and the campus pastor of Daystar campus fellowship in UNIBEN. He is now a Bishop.”

El Padroni, another Twitter user, corroborated these claims, reminiscing about Feyi Daniels as a charismatic figure at UNIBEN who, at some point, vanished after defrauding numerous individuals. Some victims & some of his staff had to go arrest his dad and younger brother (an oceanic banker then) in Ibadan and transferred them to Benin. One of my friends was a staff in the coy, and my sister invested through the guy. She was lucky by a close shave.”
