The concerned individual who captured the footage raised alarm over the ongoing construction on what should be a canal, revealing portions of the waterway that have already been filled with sand to make way for buildings.

Commissioner Wahab, upon viewing the video, confirmed the construction as illegal and assured that the Lagos State Government would take decisive action in addressing the matter.
