Hundeyin, speaking to the press on Friday, revealed that the baby was located on Wednesday around 10:30 p.m. behind the window of a residence on Akindiya Street in the Agege area of Lagos.
A concerned citizen delivered the infant to the Pen Cinema Police Division in Agege on Thursday at approximately 10:00 a.m.
“The infant has been relocated to the Juvenile/Woman Centre in Alakara, Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos, with plans for subsequent transfer to the Alausa orphanage home in Ikeja,” Hundeyin stated. He added, “An investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the child’s mother.
