Upon detailed examination, officials discovered 5.8 kg of a white powdery substance suspected to be narcotics. A diagnostic test indicated the presence of a significant quantity of cocaine, with an estimated international value of ₹82.446 crore (N75m), according to an official statement released on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

The statement further noted that the woman was promptly arrested, and the seized narcotics were taken into custody by the authorities. The incident highlights the ongoing efforts by customs officials to curb illicit drug trafficking at the Delhi International Airport.
