During the monthly Holy Ghost Service program themed ‘From The Mountain Top 2,’ Pastor Adeboye emphatically stated that individuals attempting to interfere with the country’s traditional rulers will face the consuming fire of God. He emphasized that traditional rulers are anointed in the eyes of God, and any transgressions against them will not go unpunished.
The recent tragic incidents involving the assassination of the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Olusola, and the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Ogunsola, as well as the abduction of students and instructors during coordinated attacks, have triggered heightened concerns. Pastor Adeboye’s declaration comes in the wake of these distressing events.
The reverend leader also referenced the killing of the Koro of Olukoro, General Segun Aremu (retd), in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, where his palace was attacked, resulting in his death and the abduction of his wife.
Pastor Adeboye’s pronouncement serves as both a spiritual and moral stand against the heinous acts perpetrated against traditional rulers. As the nation grapples with these security challenges, the clergyman calls upon divine intervention to bring justice and peace to those affected by these tragic incidents.
