Tinubu, speaking at the venue of the official flag-off of the construction of renewed hope cities in Abuja, commended the Super Eagles and used them as a reference point for all Nigerians.
He urged Nigerians to believe in and speak positively about their country, emphasizing the importance of maintaining optimism and perseverance. He stated: “You saw the vision when we removed the Ministry of Housing from the cloakroom and made it its own independent visionary path for greatness. Housing is an elixir for economic prosperity and job creation. We must remain positive as a nation and persevere. Let us avoid negativity and embrace a positive outlook towards our country. We will relaunch the national pledge to encourage Nigerians to remain committed to the values and greatness of our nation. We must exude confidence like the Super Eagles. I am very hopeful that it is our turn for the trophy, “Awalokan!”.”
