This decision comes as Zaidu Sanusi rejoins training with the team after missing the semi-final penalty shootout victory over South Africa due to injury.
With Sanusi’s return, the FC Porto wingback is expected to slot directly into Peseiro’s starting XI for the crucial match.
Once again, Victor Osimhen is anticipated to lead the attack, supported by top scorer Ademola Lookman and Simon Moses.
Peseiro is expected to maintain the 3-4-3 formation, with William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, and Calvin Bassey fortifying the defense in front of goalkeeper Nwabali.
With Sanusi’s inclusion, Ola Aina will revert to his natural wing position. Meanwhile, Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka are likely to anchor the midfield.
