Suspect Faces Legal Action Over Alleged Theft Of 200 Bags Of Cement....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, 28-year-old Hammed Waheed was brought before the judiciary on Thursday, accused of pilfering 200 bags of cement. Facing charges of conspiracy and theft, Waheed, who lacks a fixed residential address, allegedly committed the offense with others at large on February 21 at 11:30 am in the Oke-Ado area of Ibadan.
The police asserted that the bags of cement were stolen from Tunrayo Adeogun. The charges leveled against Waheed are in violation of Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
During the court proceedings, Waheed pleaded not guilty to the charges. Magistrate Mrs. Olasinmibo Sanusi-Zubair granted the defendant bail in the amount of N300,000, requiring two reliable sureties in a similar sum. The case has been adjourned until March 20 for further proceedings.
