Suspended legislators Take Legal Action Against Zamfara Assembly, State Attorney General, Police, And DSS....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Eight members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, along with the state’s attorney general, police, and Department of State Security (DSS), have been taken to court by the suspended lawmakers, asserting that their suspension was unlawful.
However, both the police and DSS stated that they had not yet received the summons.
Barrister Ibrahim Alli, representing the eight suspended legislators, agreed to postpone the hearing to a later date to ensure proper service to the respondents who claimed they were not served.
In response, Justice Aminu Bappa, the presiding judge, granted the motion and rescheduled the case for April 29, 2024.
