At least 40 individuals have tragically lost their lives in a mass shooting incident at a concert hall in Moscow, the capital of Russia. The attack, as reported by Reuters, has also resulted in severe injuries to several others.
Witness accounts indicate that individuals clad in camouflage attire initiated the assault by opening fire on attendees at Crocus City Hall. A widely circulated video clip depicts a significant blaze and smoke emanating from the premises.
Authorities, including the police, have responded to the scene, as per reports from Russia’s state news agency, RIA. It is noted that the assailants set fire to the building, further exacerbating the situation.
