Confirming these developments, the State Attorney General, Haruna Isah Dederi, affirmed that the case has been officially filed and all concerned parties will receive proper notification.

“It is indeed true. We have initiated legal proceedings, and the hearing is scheduled for April 17, 2024. Whether or not Ganduje has been served, I cannot confirm at this moment, but service will be executed accordingly. It’s essential to understand that evading accountability is futile; sooner or later, one must face the consequences. This case serves as a stern reminder to all individuals, especially those in government. Ganduje’s assumption that he is immune to prosecution is unfounded, as this offense falls within the jurisdiction of state law. We have also appealed Justice Liman’s ruling on this matter,” stated Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in the State, Haruna Isah Dederi.
