A circulating video captures supporters of former governor Yahaya Bello engaging in rituals purportedly aimed at shielding him from potential arrest by EFCC operatives. The footage, shared on social media by user Imran Muhammad, depicts chants in the Igbira language.
Bello, who concluded his gubernatorial tenure on January 27, is currently entangled in legal woes, facing 19 counts of money laundering at the Federal High Court in Abuja. The charges accuse Bello, along with his nephew Ali Bello, Dauda Suleiman, and Abdulsalam Hudu (allegedly evading authorities), of colluding to embezzle N80 billion.
