Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has urged the Nigerian Navy to take decisive action against various forms of economic sabotage, particularly crude oil theft. This call came during a meeting held at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Thursday, where Fubara hosted Vice-Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, the Chief of Naval Staff, along with other senior officers from the Navy High Command.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, the governor acknowledged the Navy’s significant achievements in Rivers State, attributing them to the strong support provided by his administration. Fubara emphasized the noticeable decline in oil theft in the state as evidence of positive developments.
