Resignation Demanded: APC Faction Calls For Ganduje’s Immediate Departure....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a recent development within the All Progressive Congress (APC), the Forum of Stakeholders has voiced a clear message to Abdullahi Ganduje, the embattled national chairman of the party: resign from your position. Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, the North-Central chairman of the forum, emphasized this sentiment during an interview with reporters in Jos on Tuesday.

Zazzaga highlighted the growing chorus of voices calling for Ganduje’s removal and expressed concern over his refusal to step down, citing its detrimental impact on the party’s cohesion. He particularly questioned the decision of stakeholders from the North-West who endorsed Ganduje, warning that such actions could plunge the party into disarray.

“Numerous votes of no confidence have been cast against Ganduje, both from his Kano Ward and through various protests and legal actions,” Zazzaga pointed out. “Persisting in his current position will only drag the APC backwards and exacerbate internal divisions. Ganduje’s tenure is fraught with controversy, and it’s in the best interest of the party for him to resign, thus averting potential harm and legal entanglements.”

Furthermore, Zazzaga advocated for regional representation in the party’s leadership, arguing that the national chairman position should naturally rotate to the North-Central region. He stressed the importance of fairness and equity in party affairs, asserting that individuals from all regions should have equal opportunities for leadership roles.

“According to party protocols, the successor to the former national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, should have hailed from the North-Central, not Ganduje from the North-West,” Zazzaga remarked. “In the spirit of inclusivity and justice, the chairmanship should be entrusted to a candidate from the North-Central, a region that has contributed significantly to the APC’s success, including the emergence of President Bola Tinubu.”

Zazzaga’s stance reflects a broader sentiment among stakeholders advocating for Ganduje’s resignation and a recalibration of leadership dynamics within the APC.
