The meeting, convened at the NPA headquarters in Lagos, aimed to prioritize cargo exportation. Bello-Koko emphasized that this initiative was a response to the urgent national need to bolster exports and enhance Nigeria’s balance of trade.
In his remarks, Bello-Koko highlighted the NPA’s commitment to implementing the service level agreement governing truck management and satellite park operations within a specified timeline. This move is crucial for ensuring adherence to international best practices.
Under Bello-Koko’s leadership, the NPA has recently implemented stringent measures in collaboration with the Lagos State Government. These measures have effectively addressed the longstanding traffic congestion issues that hindered smooth operations around the Lagos ports corridor, significantly improving the ease of doing business in the area.
