During the ceremony, Governor Sule emphasized that the road construction is part of his administration’s commitment to enhancing road infrastructure for the state’s residents. He stated that the initiative aligns with his administration’s policy to boost economic activities and improve the well-being of the people by creating better road networks.

“To promote economic development, our government continues to construct rural roads to connect communities,” Sule said.

He highlighted the importance of facilitating the transportation of agricultural products and other goods from rural areas to urban markets, which has been challenging due to poor road conditions.

“Over the past five years, our administration has implemented measures to address these issues. This road project is a critical component of our efforts,” he added.

Governor Sule reiterated the administration’s commitment to developing more rural roads, recognizing their vital role in the state’s overall development. He announced the upcoming construction of several rural roads, including the Angoro-Arusu-Amba-Bassa Road, Ashige-Gidan Buba-Ugah-Fadaman Bauna Road, Jangwa-Ribi-Agwatashi Road, and Azara-Ampana-Awe Road.

Hon. Ogah Ogazi, representing Kokona East Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, expressed gratitude to Governor Sule on behalf of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, and the community.
