Daniel Bwala, a former aide to ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has criticized what he perceives as an overreaction by certain individuals, whom he refers to as Obidients, to President Tinubu’s recent fall.
The President stumbled during the Democracy Day celebration, sparking varied reactions on social media. While some expressed sympathy, others resorted to mockery.
Bwala took to his social media platform to address those mocking the President, alleging them to be supporters of Peter Obi. He shared a video of Peter Obi also experiencing a stumble at an event, questioning if anyone made a fuss about it.
In his post, Bwala expressed concern about the tendency to blow simple incidents out of proportion, attributing it to political motives. He suggested that these individuals might have ulterior motives and likened them to IPOB sympathizers parading as Obidients.
