Stay And Rebuild Nigeria, Shettima Appeals To Resident Doctors....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged Nigerian doctors to remain in the country and contribute to the nation’s progress under the leadership of President Tinubu.

Shettima made the plea during a courtesy visit by the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Medical Association, headed by its newly elected President, Prof. Bala Audu, at the Presidential Villa.

In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, on Wednesday, June 12, Shettima cautioned against the growing trend of doctors seeking opportunities abroad, known locally as the “Japa Syndrome”.
He encouraged them to resist the allure of leaving without considering the positive prospects in Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, emphasizing Tinubu’s genuine concern for the welfare of medical professionals who choose to remain in the country despite lucrative offers elsewhere.
Shettima affirmed, “Stay resolute and decline the temptation to practice abroad.

With President Tinubu, you have a supporter who will stand by you through thick and thin.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu holds Nigerian doctors in high regard. He empathizes deeply with our medical practitioners who have opted to remain in Nigeria, not out of necessity but out of dedication.”
