The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has voiced deep concern over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity and economic challenges, criticizing the Federal Government’s handling of the situation.

Speaking during a church service, Oyedepo accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of not taking decisive steps to tackle the country’s growing security and economic problems.

The renowned cleric expressed frustration over the continued wave of violent attacks and killings across the country, warning that many Nigerians who have endured years of hardship may soon lose patience.

He also strongly condemned those responsible for the killings, insisting that victims and their families should not be expected to sympathize with those behind such acts of violence.

According to him, the government must take immediate action instead of appearing indifferent to the nation’s security crisis.

“The president needs to act now and stop pretending. You can’t slaughter members of my family and expect me to pray for you. I will pray against you and your household.

“The government is pretending like they don’t know what to do. I have been quiet for a long time, but the bubble is about to burst,” he said.

Oyedepo further argued that the authorities have failed to demonstrate the urgency needed to curb the country’s security challenges and reassure citizens that their lives and property are adequately protected.
