ADC Primary Sh*ck: Atiku Crushes Rivals In Zamfara With Massive 60,500 Votes Sweep
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has been declared the winner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary election in Zamfara State.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The result was announced on Monday by the chairman and returning officer of the ADC presidential primary committee, Muhammad Musa, at the state collation centre located at the Command Guest House in Gusau.
Musa explained that the primary election was held across 147 political wards in all 14 local government areas of the state. He noted that the party recorded 63,404 registered members in Zamfara State, while 61,137 votes were cast during the exercise.
According to the results, Atiku secured a landslide 60,500 votes to emerge winner of the contest. Former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi polled 191 votes, while Mohammed Hayatu-Deen received 446 votes.
Musa said the process was conducted in line with party guidelines, adding that the outcome reflected the total votes collated from across the state.
He congratulated all aspirants and party members for the peaceful conduct of the exercise and urged the party to remain united ahead of the 2027 general elections.
