Troost-Ekong showcased his prowess by netting three goals during the tournament, leading Nigeria to a commendable second-place finish at AFCON.

Ronwen Williams, the goalkeeper from South Africa, earned recognition as the Goalkeeper of the tournament for his exceptional performances that propelled the Bafana Bafana to a third-place finish.

Emilo Nsue of Equatorial Guinea, who impressively bagged five goals starting from the group stage, was honored with the Golden Boot award.
