This assurance was delivered during his keynote address at a workshop organized by the Senate committee on Compliance, titled ‘The Necessity of Legislative Compliance in Enhancing Democracy and Effective Governance in Nigeria,’ held at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja.
Represented by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, the Senate President expressed his gratitude to the committee’s chairman and its members for orchestrating the workshop.
He emphasized that this workshop signifies the commitment of the current Senate to preserve the rule of law as the cornerstone of the nation’s democracy.
